The New Unity Hall Hotel was established on this site in 1875 when the license was moved from the first Unity Hall Hotel in East Balmain. The Unity has been at the heart of Balmain ever since. It was also here that the Australian Labor Party was formed.
At the Unity our patrons come from all walks of life and have amazing stories to tell. Come by and say hello.
The Workers Bar is upstairs at the Unity and is open the first Sunday of each month for Jazz from 2pm.
The Workers is the perfect location for a private function. Call us to talk about catering options.
